Tanoshi!
These are the words I would describe the Arashi "Japonism Show" in Arena.
Cultural because they really showcased the culture and beauty of Japan through the music, the act/performance, costumes and the props used. It was quite fun (and informative at the same time) to watch the Japanese culture unveiled by a modern japanese group.
Simple and Creative.
Simple. Okay. Don't get me wrong on this one. Since as far as Arashi concerts are concerned, there is NOTHING simple about it. If we look at it with the world's viewpoint, this concert is FAR from simple. Even the greatest concert outside japan cannot compare to this! Really! But if we look at it with ARASHI's viewpoint and their concert capabilities, we can see that this one is quite simple COMPARED to the other concerts -the helicopter, strolling car, heart rate monitor, etc. Yes. It's simple. And I LOVE IT! Why? It's because in this concert, we can really focus on Arashi's performance! Their dancing, singing, facial expressions, etc. instead of focusing on the visuals and technological advances like the other concerts.
You can really see how hard they practiced just for this show!

Intimate.
First of all, they were actually pretty close to the fans! The stage is not that big and the path they roam on is quite narrow. Because of this, the fans can see them closely! Lucky!

In fact, only one cart can stroll the narrow path; therefore, they have to switch carts to move to the other side.
(Here's Aiba and J)

But also creative. Even with the limited space, they still go to different measures to give us something new like the LED suits! Af first, I honestly felt awkward seeing them wearing those suits. But as the performance continues, I said to myself, "Hey, these suits are pretty cool!"
From the Heart.
In the opening, they didn't do anything explosive like the other times. Instead, they sang a slow song while the background screen show their old pictures (pictures of their journey from the very beginning).

From this, I can see that they are approaching us bare. Bare of any form of pretense ane showing their true emotions. It feels like they are saying, " Hey, this is us. This is Arashi."
And lastly, tanoshi! (Fun)
I really had fun watching this concert. Looking at the small details, jamming to the beat, singing along and looking at their facial expressions.
Just like what J said before, it is important that they are having fun as well. Because if they do, then the fans will also find it fun and entertaining.
All in all, this is a great show! Arigatou Arashi-san for spreading joy to others through youur concerts.
Til next time!
